Ah! Midsummer! I'm so blessed to have been in this show and to have had the privilege of working with so many talented kiddos! Every actor and every tech student was such a pleasure to learn and grow alongside, so I'm super, super grateful for my cast and all of the hard work they put into this show.
To my actors ------> Thanks so much for rallying together to get things done. Whether it was helping out on work days or coming in on our breaks to rehearse or even helping one another with character choices and getting off book, we worked our butts off and did it all together. To my fellow fairies and forest folks- y'all rock. Thanks for being weird and learning hoop tricks and getting your nails done with me. We've made a lot of really classy memories and I'm very grateful for those times. As a whole though, I'm thankful for each and every one of you and I'm so proud of how far you've all come throughout the run of this show.
To my techs ------> Thank you guys for making everything. I mean everything from the lighting design to the set to design to making sure we had all of the right props and (shoutout to Joliya and Angie) beautiful costumes! Our tech team truly goes above and beyond in so many ways, and this show's technical aspects really showed off our team. I'm very proud of y'all.
Lastly, thank you Finn and Bryson and Taylor and our PA's (Bella, Josie, and Luke) for makin' ish happen. Thanks for grabbing shirts and posters for advertising, thanks for running rehearsals, thanks for handling all of the little details that most of us don't even think about. I can not say thank you enough.
That's it, I just wanted to post briefly about Midsummer because I learned a lot during this show and I'm so glad I got to share that journey with this cast in particular. (OH HELENA!)
Much Love,
Del
P.S. part of me wanted to upload this in character, but then I realized my character was mute, so that would've been interesting... so I didn't. Sorry not sorry!
