first week of may update

a candid from my sunny day sunday dog date with z

Hi, hi, hi! It's been a week and a half, but I'm here and I've got so much to say!

Since my last post where I chatted for a very long while about my Chamber Choir's tour to San Francisco, so much has happened!

If you don't follow me on Instagram (shameless self promo), then you haven't seen my millions of posts and stories about all that I've been doing... but if you have then you'd know that I've definitely had my hands full this past week or so.

To start off, last week, I wrapped up the show I was in, Trabuco's school musical, "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" which was incredibly bittersweet. On Monday we had our thank you circle and that was just as sentimental as the closing show, but there will be a post soon.

As for things other than the school musical, Monday was an interesting day. I forgot my chemistry homework in the choir room that day, so I went out to go get my packet and I spotted the teacher who runs ASB. She's really intimidating, but I really want to be apart of her program, so I was just trying to make a good impression as I walked past. It didn't work in my favor because in my true sitcom-style fashion I tripped on air in front of this lady. I was praying to God that she didn't see what had just happened. (AKA- that I completely ate it in front of her.) But- WOW SHOCKER- she totally caught me. She called me over though, and I was a tad confused. She looked at me and I expected her to make a remark about my stumble, but she smiled and asked what shirt size I was. (What?) YEA I know. My shirt size. (?!?) I think my exact response was, "What? Oh. Uh- a small?" And she handed me this white t-shirt. She asked if I could wear it on the day we had a double assembly on respect, and she told me that she'd seen me around campus (probably tripping tbh) and she thought that I was a perfect representation of what Trabuco really is. It was just really sweet and I felt so honored that she wanted me to represent the best of Trab and ASB and all that jazz. It was just a pretty crazy start to my week because if I hadn't been there at that time, it wouldn't have happened!

Moving forward to Tuesday, we had a lockdown drill which is always an interesting time, and I also taught my dance class! I did the same on Wednesday except obviously we had an assembly instead of a lockdown drill. Wednesday was also a fun day because I got Linner (the meal in between lunch and dinner) with a few of my pals! We have begun a little group where we share our testimonies and pray for each other on Wednesdays after school at Panda Express across the street from school, and it's basically my favorite thing ever. So we went to Panda and one of my girls shared her story and it was just so cool to see her open up about things and share the miraculous things that the Lord has done in her life. As for Thursday and Friday (STAR WARS DAY), not much happened. I did though, attend Trabuco's Mr. Mustang Mangeant (the male pageant for seniors at my school, I think, I'm not really too sure...). I'm so glad that I went because my friend Scott got First Runner Up and won an award so that was really fun to watch. (But in all seriousness, the most fun thing to watch was definitely either Scott singing "Remember Me" from "Coco" or the kid who was dressed up as Bob Ros

And on to this past weekend; Saturday I slept in and woke up to the fancy coffee my momma had made me and we watched "The Great British Baking Show" for about two or three hours. That was

amazing. After that I did a little Jesus journaling and then got ready to go to my friend Jordan's Sweet Sixteen birthday party! That was a blast because despite how antisocial I can be, I caught up with a couple of my friends (Mad Props to Maddie, Raney, and Emma for being such true homies!) T'was a lovely night full of too much food and too many memes.

As for Sunday; I slept in again but instead of making another cup of fancy coffee and watching "The Great British Bake Off," I pulled out my laptop, started working on homework, and was watching "13 Reasons Why." That afternoon, Zach came over and we ate PB&J and watched part of my favorite movie ever (SING STREET!!!!!) and that was for sure the highlight of my weekend. That night, I didn't do much after that. I tried to get some homework done, but I ended up falling asleep on the couch, so oh well.

Anywho, there wasn't much of a point to me posting except for the fact that I haven't done an update post in a while and I feel like I've been busy, but maybe it's just me. That's really it. I love you all though!
