I'm working on this whole "posting twice a week" thing. It's been a good time. I'm not quite sure what I want to talk about today, so I guess we'll see where this ends up at the end of this post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (fun fact: that's the first internet shrug I've ever used!)
I've been posting a lot lately about being thankful. I'm not sure if I fully understand the term though, because I throw it around loosely a lot. That's fine and dandy and all, but I don't think that I always show appreciation to those who deserve it the most.
Let me start here:
Mom and Dad. Thank you. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for giving me all you have to offer. I don't give you as much credit as you deserve. Thank you for driving me around because I can't legally drive yet. Thank you for providing me with a meal on the table. Thank you for paying for me to go to an insane arts school for the past three years. Thank you for supporting me while I'm trying to adjust to my new school. Thank you for teaching me how to make grilled cheese and tomato soup (with milk of course). Thank you for sitting down to re-teach me all of the math that I don't understand. Thank you for supporting my musical endeavors. Thank you for caring for me and raising me the best you know how. I love you both so much, even when the sass comes out.
Gavin and Camden. You two are some of the lamest dorks I know, but I love you goofballs with all of my heart.
Gav, you have the purest heart out of anyone I know. I love you so much and I just want to protect you and keep you safe. As much as you hate when I say it, I love you little brother. You're the most joyful soul I've been gifted to know and you brighten everyone's day.
Cam, you're sucha rockstar. You're hilarious and so gifted and I know that you're a tad hesitant to step into God's calling for you, but I know he'd got great things in store for you little man! I love you baby brother, even in the moments when you interrupt the music on the radio to talk about Roman Atwood's latest vlog or the Tesla model X. I'm so proud of both of you and I love you boys too much.
Sparkles, you're the last on my list right now and I apologize. Doggo, you're the sweetest thing, even when you eat all seven of my good lip balms. Thank you for chewing up everything I own, including homework. Thank you for following me everywhere. Thank you for making me laugh. I love you baby girl!
There's a little bit of thankfulness for your day. Maybe my thankfulness will make you think about who you're thankful for. Maybe it won't. And that's alright! But either way, thanks for reading my blog today.
Much Love,
Delaney Miller
